Business Japanese
One of the most common reasons for learning Japanese is to conduct business with Japanese customers or clients. Just like most languages, the Japanese language is not just about knowing how to speak, read or write. It is more about learning how, when, and also what tone and expressions to use in business or formal settings. This is particularly important when dealing with Japanese clients and customers where a good understanding of the use of honorific and polite communication and understanding of Japanese cultural and social norms will enhance rapport with Japanese clients.
I can customise courses to suit your needs and that of your organisation. The Business Japanese course will cover greetings and key aspects of common business communication words/expressions and skills. To make teaching interesting, I have also developed Art in Japanese as a teaching pedagogy using art to illustrate unique characters and various everyday scenarios to enhance learning experience through positive retention and application skills in everyday business contexts . Students will also be given adequate opportunities to practice and hone their communication skills.
I have conducted Business Japanese courses for a number of corporations within Singapore. This includes law firms and organisations in the hospitality line. These courses include regular Japanese courses for staff dealing with Japanese clients and Japanese courses for employees preparing them for business trips or posting to Japan.
